Precision architecture, built on trust
Babur Park is a concept for a linear public park in Islamabad, Pakistan, set around a monument to Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. A single promenade links the park’s programme: a library, a tea house, coffee and food kiosks, an ice-cream shop, a children’s playground, a recreation lawn, a sports area, padel tennis and badminton courts and a skate park.

The pavilions are built in brick with timber columns and glazed-tile friezes, under light steel canopies and a planting of cypress, plane and flowering shrubs. The entrance gate carries the same brick and tile.
